If you like a good steak, you will love Kodi’s. We went there this weekend towards the end of the dinner rush. I will say this if you go there early you can expect to wait to be seated, it is a very popular restaurant and it does not have enough seating to accommodate all the patrons. It would be my guess that in the near future they will be looking for a slightly larger space. The restaurant is divided into two spaces, small tables in the bar area and larger tables in the main dining area. Outside they have tiki torches and a large seating area for waiting. Kodi’s Steakhouse is located on US 1 in Hobe Sound on the west side of the street about a half mile north of Bridge Road, and it is easily worth the trip. Kodi’s Steakhouse does not take reservations and does not really do take dining, so you will have to go there to experience the tasty food.
We sat down about 9pm on a Friday night after a five to ten minute wait, we were greeted immediately by a smiling waitress, she was super friendly and answered all our questions about what was good on the menu. She gave us a few minutes to look over the wine list and menu before returning with water and piping hot bread. Pictured above is a ribeye with melted blue cheese which was excellent, the 12 ounce Filet Mignon cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth good. We also had the 8 ounce filet, that was also perfectly prepared. Each steak comes with two sides, and there are about ten or so to choose from, between three of us we had the baked potato, mashed potatoes, mushrooms and onion rings. All were excellent. Amazingly enough, we had a little bit of room left for dessert, no pictured because I was not fast enough to take the photo before we devoured the chocolate cake with scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with a fudge sauce and a carmel sauce. Outstanding, I can not wait until the next time I am there.
